Before I started cake making. On my own wedding day, I remember guests commenting on the state of my cake. They weren’t being complimentary, and when I looked, I saw it was lopsided and wonky, and you could see the brown of the chocolate cake under the white icing on the middle tier!
The last thing I needed was a ‘cake fail’ on my special day.
